Office of Academic Advising (Undergraduate Advising)

We assist over 3,000 undergraduate first year students a year!

The office currently advises and tracks the retention of first year first time undergraduate students in the:

• College of Science and Liberal Arts (CSLA)
• Hillier College of Architecture and Design (HCAD)
• Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM)
• Newark College of Engineering (NCE)
• Ying Wu College of Computing (YWCC)

OAA Advisors also advise undergraduate incoming transfer students, prior to their start at NJIT, in designated colleges and majors (see our transfer student tab for more details), as well as students who may need assistance with deciding on a major.
